I had to be in the transmission on Radio Portales a few hours
ago, in the Monumental Stadium, in the match between Chile and Paraguay. It
finished with a convincing 0-3 in favor of the visite. It was a game of the South
American Eliminatory to go to World Cup in Russia 2018. Our national team
could not against their similiar Paraguayan at home and this almost complicate
his direct classification. To be honest, this game was the worst
presentation of the Chilean team coach, Juan Antonio Pizzi. A team without ideas,
pressure, attitude and with too much mistakes.
For the
next match the chilean team is forced to win and they must travel to Bolivia
and bring the three points if they want to qualify. The stadium in La Paz is
very hard for the other teams, because the height is complicated for the oxygen
of the players.
Chile lost the big chance to qualify directly in this double date, because if they had the six points, they would have had the opportunity to get tickets to Russia this tuesday.
The level shown by the Chilean team was embarrasing for the people but there are still possibilities to go to the third consecutive for our gold generation.
PS: The worst part is that I was covering the news related to football on Radio Portales while my partners were reporting the whole game, I felt so anxious on the informative central, but I needed to stay focus and concentrated to speak on aire and make no mistakes
