Evaluation of your Blogging Experience

I think the blogging experience has been very entertaining and I have been able to improve my skills with always complicated English. Thanks to Mister Masías, I have progressed with my understanding, my writing and somehow, listening. Although it still cost me a lot, because my learning platform is bad. My English is bad.

But, this semester I have learned to write again and understand better. And this thanks to blogs. I have expanded my vocabulary and today, I can speak in English with a little more fluency.

In the future I would like this same system, but to improve listening. Not in a similar way but with the idea of improving hearing skills.

One of the things I have learned from the blog is that we can write something about any topic. I like this. Because, finally, you may like a lot of topics about music, books, sports, social networks, but I think writing on topics we do not like is more exciting. It forces you to investigate many things and who knows, another taste may be born.

PS: When I opened your blog and read the instructions, I draw my attention to the image you used. In fact, I have identified my face hahahaha ... So, I remembered and remembered this class, when we made puppets. Unforgettable.

My favorite food: Huma a la olla

Without any doubt, there are many things I like: fries with rice, meat with tomato and mashed potatoes with egg, but there are some that drive me crazy: huma a la olla.

One day, my mother cooked something, for me, very different. He began to use the blender with the corn. Then this is mixed with milk, salt and other things. Finally he served me at the table with an exquisite tomato salad. Definitely one of the best days. My mother, since then, knows what my favorite food is.

But there is a downside: my mother can only cook this in summer. It is very sad for me because I love this dish of food, the salad, the glass of Coca-Cola and, you know, the feeling of eating something that your mother makes with much love.

Also, in case we are in another season of the year, I love egg noodles and meat. I think this dish is the most chosen for any opportunity. But this does not mean that it is not rich, in fact, it is my second choice always.

I think our mother always cooks something that marks us.

A Subject You've Enjoyed: The problem of the knowledge

I think that my preferred subject  this semester is the "Problem of Knowledge" (Problema del Conocimiento) because we talk about universal history, social problems, astronomical advances, etc. Also, more subjective issues in opinion such as the fall of the Roman Empire, the impact of capitalism on history, witch-hunt, feminism and other explanations to why the knowledge of mankind. Last week, we study the theme of Michael Foucault's madness.

In addition, we have seen some authors like Francis Bacon, Silvia Federici, Nicholas Copernicus, Galileo and other great writers. All this has helped us to understand some conflicts of Catholicism or why the witch hunt had the figure of women as a target. These issues are very interesting because we get information about conflicts that undoubtedly have a consequence in our contemporary society.

I like this subject because I have learned and read a lot. I love history in general. I love that Professor Ferreti told us about the different problems of humanity. We have discussions. 

I have this class every Friday morning. I know I like this subject, because I do not feel sleepy.

The best website about sports: Espn

Without any doubt, ESPN is one of the best sports websites in the world. You can get information about all sports: Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Formula 1, Gp, Olympic Games, World Cup, etc ... Really, everything about the sport.

In this case, I chose the Chilean website because I use its information to obtain statistics, chronicles, incidents, etc. Something I did not mention is the posting of videos. Players who score, fail, the weekly summary, interviews, etc. It is a complete collection, very updated and free.

I use this page every day. I like its colors, the seriousness with which they carry information. They always have the page updated and it is very useful when I do my programs with my friends.

For example, in my program called "Over the Ball", we need the positions chart in Chile and some results for the weekend. The ESPN website gives you information at any time, as many times as you like

I like it because it is very useful, has access, you can use it at any time and have all the information you need as a journalist. Finally, He has an application for smart phones.

My Life as a Playlist

The music for me began when I was ten years old. I was living in Rancagua's center with my grandfather and it was boring me. So I had to go to a "Cyber", because Internet was very restricted. At that time there was "Messenger", so I had fun with it. But when I did not talk to anyone, I was looking for things and one day, I found a folder with Evanescence songs. Then, my grandparents gave me an Mp3 (32mb) and the first songs I put were from that group and some from Kudai.  

Without any doubt, many people made my playlist. Friends, family and some movies with their soundtracks. For example, Transformers. That's what I love, in fact, thanks to that film I met one of my favorite groups: Linkin Park.

Today my favorite singer is Gustavo Cerati. I don't get tired of listening to his music as a soloist and also in Soda Stereo. The music for me is to stop the present. It is a trip of another dimension.

My dear boy

This picture was taken by my cousin Leslie, she's the boy's mother who was photographed. The boy is my godson, his name is Angel. Yes, literally as it sounds. A true Angel.

This image shows two people who love each other. Angel and me. This day was on 21st september, a family meeting. We ate grilled beef, but Angel wanted to eat a ice cream. A ice cream very special because he shared with me, and this do not happen never.

I love this photograph. Angel is very special to me. He is a beautiful child with a perfect smile. His name is the best description for him. His hair, hands and eyes. This image shows simplicity and the same time, the selfishness of Angel. He do not wanted to give me ice cream.

This baby stole my heart. For real. I would like to have a son like him.

My favourite areas is the writing and the radio.

Writing is my way to show you my expressions more deeply. Now, I love writing about football, precisely because I love this sport. Writing is for me, as listening to music, reading a book, o simply, watching a movie. Writing is my way of de-stressing myself by doing things that will allow me to demonstrate my writing skills.

You can write your opinion, novels, story and infinite topics. Really about anything. This is why I love this area of journalism. Well, also I love the radio, this is the place where you have the posibility of connect with a million people throught a microphone. 

Many people could be simultaneously. The wonderful is that if you be in Chile, one person from United State can listen to you thanks to the radio because have the skill of shorten distances.

I believe that this two areas are my favourite ones: writing and radio. I have the posibilitie of making both things. It's great.

The best device

My favourite piece of technology is my iPod shuffle. It’s a small device that I use to listen to music. Definetely the iPod is the best invention of Steve Job. I bought my iPod in 2013 because I worked in the Easy Rancagua and I had my money. Its size is very comfortable for the use. Its sound is fantastic.

I use my iPod everyday and every moment. Especially when I travel to my city or when I go university. When I study, I use my head phones and I disappear of life hahaha. Also, I like to use my iPod when I’m bored or when I want to avoid some uncomfortable situation. I like this device because I can carry it hooked to my clothes, it is lightweight and it's black.

So, my life without my iPod means being without music and I can't  be without music, anyone.

Sport Journalism

“You should go to university before being PDI”. Words of a uncle. After that I thought that if I wanted to go to University, the football had to be my axis. I love this sport because since little I dreamed of being player, but my physical conditions are not the best, so, I chose journalism.

When I told my decision to my mother, she was not very happy and my dad was indifferent. They trust me because they knew that I am responsible and able.

After taking the PSU, I felt very nervous. I played PS3, read books, listened to music because I needed to clear my head. When I got the results, I could not believe it because I could apply to University de Chile. I applied and I was in the selection. My parents were very happy.

Today I’m very happy with my progress in the journalism. I’m on the second year. Now I’m a reporter of the Radio Sport.

I come from the city of heroes

Rancagua is my city. Where in 1996 I was born in the Regional Hospital. Currently I'm twenty years old. I'm that old. I live in Santiago because I'm student of journalism at University of Chile. The primary I was at Las Américas college, from 1st to 4th high school.

Because that I'm in Santiago in the week  I travel to Rancagua to see my family. I have two brothers, Ignacio (15) and Pablo (8). My mother is housewife and my father is electric. My parents are separated since I was five years.

My hobbies are play football with my brothers, listen music, read much, go to cinema with my girlfriend or watch movie in house.
